INFORMATION ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE EDUCATIONAL CENTER

The training center of the Council of the Federation of trade unions of Uzbekistan was established by the decision of the Presidium of the Council of the Federation of trade unions of Uzbekistan on March 15, 1996.

Retraining and advanced training provides updating and deepening of professional knowledge and skills of employees and trade Union activists. The procedure for retraining and advanced training of trade unions is determined by the Council of the Federation of trade unions of Uzbekistan. Thematic seminars for trade Union leaders and specialists are organized as necessary, depending on the level of trade Union education.

The purpose of training trade Union personnel is to train trade Union leaders and specialists who can protect the interests of employees in a market economy.

The main tasks of trade unions are:

  • Expand the knowledge of trade Union leaders and specialists in Economics, law, sociology, trade Union theory and practice, psychology, management, marketing, and other fields.
  • Formation of trade Union leaders who are professional in the reforms of political and economic life of Uzbekistan, who strive for innovation and combine research qualities.
  • Chairmen of trade Union committees and activists of certain categories of primary trade Union organizations. A separate curriculum will be developed for each group of students. The group is designed for 20-25 people. During the year, the training center trains about 1200 students. There are 125 out-of-state teachers.

Material and technical base of the training center: a large hall (for 100 people), three auditoriums (25 seats each), a computer room (25 seats).

Membership fees and donations from third parties based on funds and approved estimates of the Council of the Federation of trade unions of Uzbekistan, come from paid services.
